In this video, I finished my CNC plasma table build with the wiring, setting up the floating head (I don't have the torch height control - aka THC) and torch relay (make the plasma cutter CNC compatible without modifying the torch or the plasma cutter itself). I also added a spring setup to create a pressure for the floating head without adding too much more weight to the Z axis and redesign the torch holder.
The wiring was easy, the configurations with Mach3 and SheetCam were a breeze. All the functions worked correctly.
Since I don't have any experience with this type of equipment yet, the first cuts were kinda ugly. I will need to spend more time to figure out all the parameters needed for some clean cutting in the future.
