I have used my old brake shoes since they have not worn out completely and created slots for the heat and gas to escape thus giving me more braking power. About a week has passed by the old brake shoe perform better than the new ones which are TVS parts too. I suggest that until you don't hear a squeaking sound the brakes are good. Just scrub the brake drum and the brake shoe with 60 grit sandpaper and you're good to go (Sanding adds grip to the shoes) but DO NOT use anything above 60 grit as it will make the surface smooth and skid the brakes.
I will be making a brake adjustment video, where you can fine-tune the brake rod action so that you can use your brake shoe till they wear out to bare metal.
Feel free to ask me any questions and I will respond within 24 hours.
