Is the truth always the best? Insight explores this question with guests including Paul, who was abused as a child. Danielle who was one of the youngest senior coaches in AFL history and at age 52 gender transitioned. Rachel, who always knew she was adopted, was never told the truth about her biological mother. After being lied to by her adoptive parents and government agencies, she now refuses to keep secrets from her son. Chelsea, who grew up with autism, was inherently truthful but learned to lie in her teenage years and use it to her advantage. Di, who became pregnant at 22 and was unwed, was told by the hospital that her baby had died. Decades later, in her 60s, a man reached out, revealing he was her son and the hospital had lied. Natasha discovered her husband was secretly filming family members in the shower. Geoff, a lawyer with over 30 years in criminal law, believes truth is relative. Jenny cheated on a major exam 40 years ago in high school and has never been able to forget it.
