It was a sunny Saturday in Greater Manchester, so I thought: why not take a little wander into Bury town centre, do absolutely nothing, and see what happens… 😎🚶‍♂️💭

And let me tell you, everything happened! This episode of I’m Doing Nothing turned out to be the funniest, warmest, and most nana-packed vlog I’ve ever made 🧓🧓🧓

We started strong at Bury Market — widely known as THE BEST market in the UK 🛍🍓🐟🥩 (seriously, the whole of Bury agrees).

It’s been around since 1444, and it’s still thriving harder than your nan’s bingo hall 🎉📅💅

From meat halls to bakeries, anorak stalls to phone case shops, there was something for everyone — and that includes:
🥧 Free food (yep, again)
🎤 Banter from butchers
🧁 Sweet treats from total strangers

There were locals born and bred, families from far and wide, and more OAP legends than I could count — all up for a laugh, a chat, and a cameo in this vlog 🧓📸🥰

After the market chaos, I mooched into Bury town centre, which has had a total glow-up 🏙
Shiny streets, buzzing shops, massive community spirit, and even a sightseeing bus (included with your market entry! 😱🚌)

I met:

🛍️ Shoppers who treated me like I was family

There wasn’t a single bad vibe all day. Every person I met was kind, hilarious, and so proud of where they’re from ❤️💬👏

So if you’ve ever wondered if Bury is worth a visit, the answer is: YES, unless you hate fun, food, and friendly faces 💥🥓🤣
