Ever heard of Agrotherapy? Jon Jackson tells his very personal story struggling with depression as a veteran and the therapy he found that helped him heal. Join Jon in better understanding how agriculture can be used to help returning soldiers acclimate to life at home.
STAG VETS Inc was Founded by the Executive Director Jon Jackson to assist veterans suffering from invisible wounds through the use of the nations first Acute Veterans Crisis Agriculture Center (Comfort Farms). With over 40 months in the Combat zone and a combined six Combat deployments Jon earned his stripes by serving his country with the elite 75th Ranger Regiment. He was a key a component to providing direct support to multidisciplinary Special Operations Teams spread across austere environments. Jons Can-Do anything attitude forged in war has become essential to leading his organization by building trust and integrity to the veterans and families for whom he serves.
