Thank you to our 2024 Hanford Vit Plant 4 Val Polar Plunge team! Our team jumped into the Columbia River in Richland, WA last weekend during the Polar Plunge event after raising more than $30,000 for Special Olympics! Thank you to all those who donated in honor of our former Project Director, Val McCain, who we lost last year and who was a Special Olympics champion. Our team had more than 30 “plungers” – and took home a golden toilet plunger as the prize for the Tri-Cities’ top-fundraising team.
