Nearly all of these trainers scale to at least a few levels under our current highest leveled mon. Some of these battles are still rather easy, but they’re a step up from other generics who are pretty much pushovers. I’ll take this over Pitch Black 2 where almost every generic trainer was like a boss 😅.
Wally got a lot better than in the original and other rom hacks. Fantina with her Mega Banette was the toughest opponent in this section. I almost blundered the battle with Wattson because I wasn’t expecting to win on the first attempt 😆.
