This Chapter is the final Chapter for STPM Chemistry Sem 1 where we first introduced what is transition elements, and what are the physical properties possessed by these transition elements from the perspective of atomic radius, melting point and also ionisation energy
Then we shall introduced the 4 special chemical properties that belong to transition elements, hence describe and explained in detail for the first properties, the variation of oxidation states for transition elements. We also have a look in detail about the stability of +2 oxidation state in acidic and and stability of +3 oxidation state in aqueous solution using appropriate standard electrode potential values and equations
