3.5L Toyota Tensioner Pulley and Serpentine Belt Replacement

The 3.5L Toyota serpentine belt tensioner is notorious for being a $250 part and a $600 install charge due to the amount of work involved. This method will allow a quick, cheap, and safe fix for any belt tensioner that is in need of the pulley by itself. The pulley is not listed as a replaceable part at common auto parts stores. The squeak was still happening after replacement of the tensioner pulley. I he way I fixed the problem was to spray lubricant into the body of the tensioner itself. Please see the pictures of this link, it is the black area of the first picture:
