In this video, I show how to build a 12-volt LiFePO₄ (LFP) battery using the case from an old gel/lead-acid battery. This DIY lithium battery upgrade is perfect for solar systems, inverters, UPS, RVs, and backup power.
Instead of throwing away old gel batteries, we reuse the enclosure and replace the lead-acid cells with LFP cells, resulting in a lighter, longer-lasting, and more efficient battery.
