Starscream, Megatron, & Imperfect Abuse Narratives

If you went back and watched the original Transformers cartoon, you wouldn’t find a very toxic dynamic between Megatron and Starscream. They were mutually snarky, but the tone between them, like the tone throughout the rest of the show, was light hearted. Somewhere in the translation to more modern, more mature adaptations from what we had in G1, something about their famous dynamic was changed.

Today, I'm taking a look at the relationship between two of the Transformers franchise's most well known bots in both Transformers: Prime and IDW's G1 reboot.
