Khumalo's bid for relaxed bail conditions postponed

A bid by crime intelligence boss Dumisani Khumalo and others to have
their bail conditions relaxed has been postponed to 15 September to
allow for the state to verify information contained in a supplementary
affidavit submitted by National Police Commissioner Fannie Masemola.
Masemola's statement, which was read into the record today, claims
that an internal SAPS probe has been concluded, which clears the
spooks of any wrongdoing and they should return to their respective
posts.
But the state argued that it needed more time to verify this, and
applied for a postponement.
