From the Ground Up - A documentary short film about helicopter pilots

Coptersafety proudly presents the captivating short documentary film, From the Ground Up.

Helicopters are deemed dangerous, combustible vehicles for the villains in movies. But the reality is far from that depiction. Three seasoned helicopter pilots, Andreas Hjert, Kristian Krog, and Marthijn over de Linden, open the door to the industry to debunk the misconceptions about helicopters and share their stories.

These pilots, like many, have always known they were meant to fly. As their dreams become reality, they go into some of the many different operations for which helicopters are used.

While there are regulations, protocols, and manufacturer guidelines, one of the most important safety factors is training and practicing emergency maneuvers. Simulator training is a key part of their training procedure to ensure consistent and safe training.

Safety is the most important factor for helicopter pilots, their families, their crews, and the environment around them.
