The Most Expensive Booth Fee I've Paid For... Here's What I Learned.

Episode 8 of the weekly side quest series, where I dropped over $1,800 to vend at CSU Long Beach's campus, outside of their bookstore, amongst a few other vendors. While the booth fee itself costed me only $600, a fairly reasonable price, the insurance coverage I was required to submit was an unholy $1,175. Yes, maybe I could have negotiated for a better price with the carrier or agent I called, but booking this event was a little last minute and rather urgent. You see, Long Beach's campus is undergoing construction in the coming years, which means their vendor program would no longer be in place for the foreseeable future. With only a few weeks counting down before the end of the school year, my still somewhat strong presence in the college space, and a handful of shark enamel pins I recently got shipped, I pretty much HAD to capitalize on the final opportunity to vend here for a week, and see if the risk was worth it.
Welcome back to the channel Zookies! Thank you for tuning in to another weekly episode. We are closing in on the end of this event season, and as you continue to support the channel, I wanted to extend a huge appreciation for everyone who has joined the Zookie-verse in the last few weeks, and everyone who has been supporting since the start. This episode, I broke my camera at the Long Beach event but was still able to record footage for you guys before sending in the camera for repair. I hope you enjoy the episode, it's quite yappy and information heavy.
