Taking my new Chevrolet 4X4 Silverado 1500 Duramax Diesel on its very first adventure — a truck camping trip along California’s breathtaking Central Coast. We start at Montaña de Oro State Park, set up camp, cook tri-tip over the fire, and then roll out to Pismo Beach, one of the few places in California where you can drive and camp right on the sand. From wildlife encounters to sleeping in the back of the truck, this is what California camping is all about.
