Exploring Durango, CO in Our Airstream | Dog Friendly & Hot Spring Heaven

Join us as we take our Airstream to Durango, Colorado, one of the most underrated towns in the state and quickly becoming one of our favorites. We camped at Westerly RV Park, just steps away from Durango Hot Springs, where the mineral-rich waters (lithium, magnesium, calcium, and more) left us feeling refreshed and relaxed.

From soaking under the stars with the San Juan Mountains as our backdrop, to wandering historic downtown Durango with its charming shops and Wild West vibe, this trip had it all. We checked out some of the best local spots like Steamworks Brewing, Carver Brewing, and the lively 11th Street Station food truck park — all with a dog-friendly twist.

Of course, our doodles Lincoln and Rocky loved exploring too, especially at the Durango Off-Leash Dog Park right along the Animas River, where they could run free with mountain views all around.
