Jeanine Rueff is one of the finest exponents of the virtuosic French tradition. Her style is distinct from her teachers Henri Busser and Tony Aubin, combining cross rhythms and the whole tone scale, with very long phrases and an impressionistic style.
Rueff was a student and professor at the Conservatoire National supérieur de musique et de danse de Paris.
