A Romance of the Little Forest Synopsis
Yu Meiren, a fashion blogger, maintains her appearance entirely through makeup.
Wanting to use her beauty to exact revenge on the man who once rejected
her marks the beginning of a sweet love story that takes the two from campus to the countryside.


Zhang Yu, a botany professor, has dedicated his life to researching the cultivation of sweet wormwood.
Indifferent to any otherworldly desires, he unintentionally hurts the feelings of Yu Meiren,
a rural girl who has had a long crush on him.


Years later, Yu Meiren graduates with honours and receives her Ph.D. in Ornithology. Instead of dealing with the pressures of scientific research, she becomes a fashion blogger.
When Yu Meiren and Zhang Yu meet again, they start off on the wrong foot. Zhang Yu has travelled to Qingshui Village for work and has found lodging at Yu Meiren's bed and breakfast.
