五梆子是一首由冯子存根据华北地区传统民间乐曲改编的笛子独奏曲，是北方梆笛的代表曲目。原曲优美明快，热情奔放，曲调优美健朗，体现了人们对美好生活的赞美，常用于戏曲过门，经冯子存整理加工后，赋予乐曲以粗犷豪爽、热情奔放的个性，梆笛特殊技法的安排和运用，使乐曲具有浓郁的地方色彩，广为大众所喜爱。
Wubangzi is a solo piece for the flute adapted by Feng Zicun from traditional folk melodies of North China and is a representative work for the northern bangdi (bang flute). The original tune is graceful, bright, and exuberant, with a melodious and robust character, reflecting people’s admiration for a beautiful life, and is often used as a transitional passage in opera. After Feng Zicun’s arrangement and refinement, the piece was endowed with a bold, hearty, and passionate character. The use of special techniques on the bangdi gives the music a strong local flavor, making it widely loved by the public.
