ScalaHosting Review — My Honest Thoughts After 4 Years of Usage

I host all of my business websites on Scala. So, in this ScalaHosting review, I want to go over WHY I think they're worth it.... for the right kind of user.

The biggest value proposition of ScalaHosting is support. They offer extremely powerful and confusing servers that they are able to manage FOR YOU. So, you get excellent website performance and everything is extremely easy to use (because you don't have to do it yourself) but you pay a premium for this convenience.

Is it worth it? For me, yes. While I could go with professional options like AWS or Azure, I prefer ScalaHosting for the support alone. The performance is on par with the biggest names in the industry, but as this ScalaHosting review showcases, they don't treat you like a number (if you ever tried contacting Google, Microsoft or Amazon support you know what I'm talking about).

ScalaHosting uses AMD EPYC CPUs, NVMe storage and LiteSpeed software for their servers. That's THE FASTEST configuration you can get in 2025. They have developed sPanel that perfectly integrates with their hardware and existing users keep getting continuous hardware updates.

If you can afford it, in my opinion, there is no better option for web hosting in 2025 UNLESS you're a complete beginner. In that case, ScalaHosting web services are an expensive overkill.
