Today, I suggest we take a stroll through Stockholm's old town. It's a place filled with positive energy, steeped in history, and, don't forget, packed with tourists (like me) 😅😅😅
Gamla stan is the old town of the Swedish capital Stockholm, located on the island of Stadsholmen. It is located in the district of Södermalm. Gamla stan is home to the palace built by Nicodemus Tessin the Younger and the two churches Storkyrkan (St. Nicholas Church) and Tyska kyrkan (German Church). Storkyrkan houses the outstanding medieval equestrian sculpture of St. George fighting the dragon by Bernt Notke, which can also be found in bronze in the old town.
