Making a Car Part with Polyurethane Injection Molding

Continuous improvement is better than delayed perfection. As we have gathered more experience in the process of manufacturing polyurethane products in California we have learned many different methods for making such molds. The most lucrative way to make the mold is through fiberglass which requires a plug, but is more labor intensive. Another way is to use CNC machines to make them out of aluminum, which is a bit more costly, but more efficient. Since everything is done through 3D applications.

We use both methods the mold being show cased in this video was made through fiberglass mold making.
