Vibrant Celebrations at Pioneer Convent School | Teej Festival 2024 🌸🎉

Today, Pioneer Convent School, Gajjan Majra, celebrated the Teej Festival with great enthusiasm and cultural flair. The event, “Rounak Pioneer Di,” brought students and teachers together in a colorful display of Punjabi traditions. Activities included traditional games such as 'Bambal Vatna', 'Battiyan Vatna', 'Mehndi Gundna', 'Seviyan Vatna', and 'Phatti Poch Ke Likhan'. Each child participated with joy, and our esteemed Principal honored the winners with prizes.

Highlights of the Day:

Nimrat Kaur from JKG and Seerat Kaur from 2nd grade won the "Queen of Giddha" competition.
Anaitjot Kaur (4th grade), Dipinder Kaur (8th grade), and Japneet Kaur (5th grade) triumphed in the "Rounak Vihray Di" competition.
Harmandeep Kaur from 9th grade won the "Dhee Punjab Di" competition.
The students’ excitement was palpable, and their performances of Giddha and folk songs filled the atmosphere with musical joy. Principal Dr. Parminder Kaur Mander enlightened everyone on the significance of Teej, emphasizing the importance of cultural heritage and traditions in fostering community spirit and inspiring students to stay connected to their roots.
