How To, Harley Davidson Sportster Gas leak Fix.. The float needle valve is responsible for regulating the flow of fuel into the float bowl. When the tip of the valve becomes worn this prevents the closing of the valve. Fuel flows continuously into the bowl, Flooding the engine. Under severe conditions gas may soak the air filter and overflow out of the float bowl hose and onto the ground while parked. This will work on most Harley Davidson carburetor motorcycles

Tools Needed
3/8 socket, 9/16 deep socket, 1/4, 5/32 allen head wrench.
