In this video, Renaud Anjoran talks you through why ANS or AQL tables favor the supplier rather than the buyer.
In the sampling plan, the buyer's risk (of accepting poor quality products) is actually about double that of the supplier (of having good quality products rejected).
We look at the types of percentages of defects you can expect to encounter running ANSI inspections, and why 'accept on zero plans' might be a step too far, for Chinese suppliers at least.
Overall, classic ANSI inspections will help you combat quality problems and keep your supplier on their toes, but you will find that some batches still have defects.
