Glenn and Maureen share a glimpse of the simple life around the off grid cabin on their 40 acres in the wilderness of Ontario Canada.
Staying put in the cozy shelter of the cabin during a snow storm, they keep up with the daily chores, including bringing in firewood to satisfy the appetite of the woodstove. From gentle falling snow to blizzard like conditions, winter has set in around the off grid cabin. After 8 years of surviving life in the Canadian Wilderness, Glenn and Maureen share their time relaxing at the off grid cabin Maureen cooks up some of their favourite cabin meals. Glenn plays some native flute.
With the sun going down in the later afternoon, and the moon rising, they share some of the wilderness scenery as they walk in the magical light of the full moon, along the wilderness trail. Wolves are heard howling in the distance, while nearby owls hoot in the moonlight.
Maureen checks the trail cams for videos of the wildlife that shares their forest trails.
While there's lots to do outside in the winter wonderland, Glenn and Maureen enjoy taking time to relax in the cozy off grid cabin, staying warm by the woodstove.
Jake the black Labrador Retriever loves playing and romping in the snow.
