🌅 Daily Devotion: John 20:1-2 – The Empty Tomb

"Early on the first day of the week, while it was still dark, Mary Magdalene went to the tomb and saw that the stone had been removed from the entrance.
So she came running to Simon Peter and the other disciple, the one Jesus loved, and said, 'They have taken the Lord out of the tomb, and we don’t know where they have put him!'"

This moment captures the dawning of hope. Mary Magdalene’s early visit to the tomb turned into the beginning of resurrection joy. At first, her heart was full of confusion and grief — but this was just the beginning of the greatest revelation: Jesus is alive.

🙏 Prayer: Lord, in the moments of doubt and confusion, help me to remember that You are alive and moving even when I don’t see it. Fill my heart with the hope of Your resurrection power. Amen.
