In soaring temperatures, we braved the weather and walked from City Centre Bull Street to Edgbaston Village and back filming trams running in service along the route. We stopped off at Grand Central Kitchen (right by the tram stop at Grand Central) for what has got to be the best breakfast you can find in Birmingham! (All the other food there is awesome too!!)
You will see a good mixture of CAF Urbos 100s and the heavily repaired CAF Urbos 3s (they are the ones with a mixture of old and new livery and very confusing adverts!).
We ensured that we got trams entering Five Ways tunnel in each direction and ventured up onto level 7 of Central Library in Centenary Square and filmed a couple of trams from the parapet of the "Secret Garden".
