Balasun is the new offbeat place in North Bengal, situated in sukhiapokhri block, darjeeling district.From sukhia bazar it is approximately one and half km distance. I have stayed in the picturesque village for two days in source of balasun pahari homestay. The village and the Homestay is surrounded by hills and waterfalls.Threre are lots of places nearby like sukhia,mirik, plungdung, Lepchajagat, ghoom, sonada, pasupati etc.Balasun village is the source of balason which is one of the main river in dooars region . We are overwhelmed by the hospitality of Naren Pahari ( homestay owner ) and his family and the tranquility and serenity of the village
