Hello you awesome Sonic dudes, and welcome
to a brand new rock cover, in which today I'll
be getting into the rock vibes while we head
bop to the Competition Menu theme in the
video game Sonic the Hedgehog 3 & Knuckles.

This one wasn't difficult at all to work on
knowing there weren't a lot of notes to keep
track of behind the scenes. So I thought of
an idea to elevate that song, not just by using
guitars, but also adding giving it that soft synth
rock in the background as if you were listening
to a choir in the background. Whenever making
a cover requires chords, lead notes, and a lot of
attention to detail, it's important for me to stay
true and honourable to the original, but also
bring the song some life and a meaning based
on its genre for video game music.
The song may have been short to work on as
a cover, but the quality and sound were worth it
all in the end, so I'm thankful to the composers
and the video game developers for making this
game and the soundtrack that inspired me
back in my childhood.
