From Field to Flour: Growing Regenerative Organic Wheat on Exmoor

Welcome to Wood Advent Farm.

We’re Kate and David, and we farm on the edge of Exmoor National Park in Somerset, working with the land rather than against it. Our family has been rooted here since the 1740s, and today we farm regeneratively — growing organic food, restoring soils, supporting wildlife, and sharing what that way of farming looks like in real life.

On this channel you’ll find short films and glimpses of life on the farm: growing regenerative organic wheat from field to flour, working with local mills and bakers, raising livestock slowly and carefully, and the quieter moments in between — harvest days, winter fields, shared meals, and the people who help make this place what it is.

We believe good food starts with healthy soil, that flavour carries a story, and that farming done well should feel grounded, shared, and alive. These films are our way of showing that — honestly, without polish, and always from the land itself.
