In this video we are going to walk through processing raw data from a MetroX turntable scan. In general I leave the data fairly raw, but that isn't always ideal. Sometimes you need a lower poly count mesh, sometimes you need it smoother, and sometimes you need more detail even with extra noise. We are going to walk through Fusing points, smoothing and simplifying points, and generating mesh models that capture details and are smooth. The sprocket we are working with was captured with the MetroX in turntable mode and it was prepared with scan spray.
