FIRST LOOK at the 2025 AFL Academy | AFL Academy vs Richmond VFL

We pulled up to the AFL Academy's game against Richmons VFL and it DID NOT disappoint!

The amount of young talent on show was NEXT LEVEL. Despite trailing by 31 points at halftime, the Academy fought back to finish with more scoring shots in a spirited performance.

Queensland prospects were standouts, with Daniel Annable named best afield and Beau Addinsall putting on a midfield clinic. Archie Ludowyke kicked three goals up forward, while Dylan Patterson and Oliver Greeves added toughness and flair around the ground.

It wasn’t a win, but this draft class showed they can hang with mature bodies — and the next hit-out can’t come soon enough.
