The book “Weaving a Realm" provides a general understanding of Vietnamese ancient attires in the imperial court of Early Lê era (1428-1527). The book is written in both Vietnamese and English, with ample aesthetic illustrations and images.

The content covers from basic costumes’ forms, such as Thường (wrap skirt), Giao Lĩnh (cross-collared robe), Viên Lĩnh (round-collared robe), Đối Khâm (parallel-collared robe), to the attires of certain classes in the court, for instance: Emperor’s Hoàng Bào, Empress’ Địch Y, the servants, the female officials, etc.
