2 Days in Hampi | Detailed Travel Guide

Hampi was in my origitnal 2019 Solo in South Travel itinerary:    • Solo In South | India Travels  
And after almost 5 years, I finally made it to the historic town.
In this travel vlog, I take you to the truly enchanting ruins of Kishkindha . I spent my first evening watching sunset from Malyavanta hill. The next day, I had breakfast at Laughing Buddha. Laughing Buddha was a highly recommended place by a friend. However, it was regarding the older location of the restaurant. Earlier, Laughing Buddha was at the Hippie island. Now, there are no restaurants or cafes on the Hippie island anymore, after Hampi became a UNESCO world heritage site.
After my breakfast, I visited these places in the same order: Vitthal Rao Templ, Queen's Bath, Royal Enclosure (one of my favorites), Pushkarni Lake, Hazara Rama temple, and Virupaksha Temple.
Oh! and regarding stay, I stayed at Zostel. Zostel Hampi is quite average in terms of amenities and also the location. While the surrounding area is nice, it is in Gangavati town, which is around 30 kms from Hampi. So, from wherever you are coming, you can either take a train to Hospet Junction (14 km from Hampi) or Gangavati (30 km from Hampi).
