Northern full journey Manchester Victoria to Southport 04/10/2024

Journey onboard 769448 working 2W13 1209 Manchester Victoria to Southport calling at Salford Central, Salford Crescent, Kearsley, Farnworth, Moses Gate, Bolton, Westhoughton, Hindley, Wigan Wallgate, Gathurst, Appley Bridge, Parbold, Burscough Bridge, Meols Cop and Southport. It was supposed to start at Stalybridge but its inbound working 2W48 from Southport terminated at Manchester Victoria rather than continuing to Ashton-under-Lyne and Stalybridge due to "a shortage of train crew", even though 2W48 only arrived into Victoria 6 minutes late, unless it would impact 1P71 from Manchester Airport to Saltburn, operated by TPE. Next time, I'll definitely do it to/from Stalybridge, regardless of what traction is used (whether its a 15x or 769), provided they don't fuck it up again with that bullshit "shortage of train crew" excuse, because they fucking know that they didn't want anybody to get to Ashton-under-Lyne or Stalybridge! As suggested by ‪@gavinm.9154‬ (and many others who may enjoy the motors), I did not do any talking in the background! This is something that I'll try to do in newer videos from now on! Or will I?
I presume that David Curtis hates Ashton-under-Lyne with a passion, hence why most (if not all) Northern services to/from Ashton-under-Lyne and Stalybridge were cancelled that day. Maybe TPE should call at Ashton-under-Lyne in the future?
