Curated by Elfam, a Lithuania-based DJ deeply connected to the global psychedelic trance scene, this compilation delivers 12 powerful tracks from BMSS Records artists and other top producers. Ranging from 138 to 148 BPM, it showcases an energetic, colourful, and diverse sound – coming together to form an at-once cohesive and mind-warping sonic journey for the dancefloor.

Each track has been handpicked for its ability to stand on its own while also contributing to the greater storyline of the VA. The artists featured here represent different shades of modern Psytrance – from deep, hypnotic grooves to full-power, high-energy explorations, each offering their own signature twist on the psychedelic spectrum. With contributions from producers across the world, the compilation weaves together a truly global range of psychedelic expression.

Capturing the essence of true Psytrance – energetic, driving, and transformative, Through The Labyrinth reflects the experience of navigating life’s twists and turns, with each track guiding the listener through a hypnotic haze of sound. The music embodies this idea: passages of light and intensity, moments of tension and release, and a continuous sense of forward motion that mirrors the experience of searching for the centre of one’s own inner journey.

The artwork was hand drawn by Šarūnė Kalininaitė a.k.a. 5sarunes. The main composition formed as a direct response to the album’s concept, echoing its atmosphere and the feeling it carries. Visually, it leans into an 80s anime aesthetics, embracing grainy textures, soft noise, and that familiar lo-fi haze. The head piece was created using an automatic drawing technique - a flow straight from the unconscious, letting the lines wander and reveal whatever wanted to surface.
