Composing something melancholy and wistful, but with enough drive to fit as a boss theme, was an interesting challenge I hadn't quite tried before. My first idea was to do something with a really unconventional time signature, but I couldn't get it to sound right. My second attempt came out way too lighthearted. Finally I came up with this, and I'm quite satisfied with it.
I wonder if she attaches new twigs and leaves to her dress when they decay and crumble?
陰気で切なく、でもボス曲に相応しく迫力のある曲を作るのは面白い挑戦でした。
初期の案として超変則な拍子にしようと思いましたが、うまく作れなくて没にした。
その後の案も明るすぎて没。 ようやくこの案に落ち着いて、かなり満足しました。
ドレスの技や葉が枯れ落ちると、新しいのをつけるかな？
