The Guild® M-40 Standard Family of concert-size acoustic guitars includes the M-40 Standard Natural and M-40 Standard Pacific Sunset Burst, both of which are meticulously crafted in the USA*. Their solid African mahogany backs and sides provide warmth, while solid Sitka spruce tops add brightness and a lively response that, along with their smaller bodies and wider nut widths, make them superb choices for singer-songwriters and fingerstyle guitarists.

M-40E Standard Natural and M-40E Standard Pacific Sunset Burst guitars include integrated L.R. Baggs® Element VTC active pickup systems with Volume and Tone controls.
