In this video, Dr. Shrikant Talari explains the rubric "Crawling on Floor,". This rubric is self-explanatory. Crawling refers to moving slowly or with difficulty, especially with the body stretched out along the ground or on hands and knees.
This is a single remedy rubric and it includes the remedy Lachesis. In Lachesis Hering’s guiding symptoms describe a child who is extremely angry and irritable, uninterested in talking to anyone, and shows hatred toward the mother. The child may lie in a corner, showing disinterest in other children and wanting to be left alone—a key trait of Lachesis. Lachesis is known for indolence, laziness, and isolation. While lying in the corner, the child may cover their face, silently observing everything happening around them. Covering the face signifies disinterest, but internally, the child is calculating and watching—a significant characteristic of snake remedies. Snakes hide their true intentions while strategizing in the background. This trait is linked to insanity—patients may display mocking behavior, cracking jokes, making whistling noises, and behaving strangely before experiencing convulsions. Increased cerebral activity leads to a seizure, with insane behavior as a precursor., This behavior of Lachesis closely aligns with the rubric "Crawling on Floor".
Cross-References:
• Insanity
• Rolling
