In his prime Gilbert Arenas was one of the top scorers in the league, once he got it going he was hard to stop. He wasn't shy either, that was one of his trademarks, it didn't matter how far out he was or whether he had a defender in his face or not, he popped the shot anyway and the majority of the time it went in, especially in clutch situations. That become what he was known for, his ability to come through in the clutch.
Personally I loved how Arenas used to always stare you down and simply drain the shot in your face. He just stood there and suddenly popped it. He was almost an unknown star, even today, people don't really talk about how good he was, they only remember the bad things like the gun incident.
The league's gonna miss you Gil!
