Before moving to Miami, I had my preconceived notions of the Magic City. Here I deconstruct what I wish I had known about Miami (and South Florida) before moving here.
A lot has changed over the last 10 years and the Miami lifers can tell you that a whole lot more is different. But some things stay the same. I don't know everything about Miami, but I know enough. Best of luck if you plan to make a permanent or semi-permanent move to Miami. It's a great place to live.
