In the spring of 2011, the late, great blues pianist and boogie-woogie legend Pinetop Perkins passed away in his late 90's. This video is an extended version of his appearance at the King Biscuit Festival, his funeral, burial,, and after-party in Clarksdale, Mississippi. Grammy award-winning bluesman Bobby Rush played When the Saints Come Marching In on his harmonica at his funeral, blues singer Dorothy Moore sang Precious Lord, and the late Willie "Big Eyes" Smith and boogie-woogie player Clay Swafford both played at the after-party among other guests who got up on stage to perform during a random jam.
