I took a wooden cigar box and primed it with black chalk paint, added texture with modeling paste through a stencil, then added a zipper, screws, and resin embellishments. I glued everything down with heavy body gel medium. Everything was then primed again with black chalk paint then colored with Art Alchemy wax in aged brass. I then began to layer art alchemy matte wax in patina green and patina blue as well as rust paste in red and gold rust, also by Prima.
