❄️➡️☀️ This MTB Ride Started in Snow… and Ended in Sunshine!

Woke up to frozen trails, sheet ice and some seriously questionable riding conditions… and still thought, “Yeah, let’s go for a ride.” I’m a middle‑aged, unfit Welsh mum on an Amflow eMTB, trying to survive a winter mountain bike ride that turns into a mission to ESCAPE the ice and find the sun.
This winter MTB adventure starts in full snow mode – slippery climbs, sketchy descents and that horrible feeling when your tyres have zero grip. Instead of turning back like a sensible human, I decide to chase drier, sunnier trails on the Welsh coast and see if I can actually escape the snow.
