This is a video explaining the use of the BRZ/GT86/FRS electric power steering setup that can be used in a different vehicle, or used within the BRZ/GT86/FRS. The Canbus Emulator allows the steering system to work stand alone, required when used in a different vehicle, or for custom applications within the BRZ/GT86/FRS, or with conversions where the required signals are no longer present.
The Steering Emulator comes in four different versions:
1) Canbus Emulator with automatic varying assist via an external speed pulse or speed sensor.
2) Canbus Emulator with manual controlled variable assist via an on board potentiometer.
3) Canbus Emulator with manual controlled variable assist via an external dash mounted dial (dimmer mechanism) that clips into a vacant slot in the factory dash next to the dash lamp dimmer dial.
4) Emulator without the vehicle speed emulation (used if your BRZ/GT86?BRZ speedometer still works, and you just need the engine Canbus Emulation without going to a full Canbus Translator)
