I bought this 3.5” Tich locomotive off a friend some months ago. It had changed hands a couple of times since it was built in 1994. Having only run a handful of times it was taken out of service some years ago after failing a hydraulic test on a faulty regulator. Under my care “Max” as he is known has been sent to a friend to have a new regulator made and other work carried out. This is the end result. The first 2 steam ups at my friends house since the mid 1990’s. There’s still a couple of items I need to sort which is a replacement safety valve as the current one is sticking open, and a new whistle as the poor little dude can’t whistle at the minute! Need to get him up to date with a new hydraulic certificate and steam certificate before he can go on tour around some local tracks
