First LOOPING Water Slide in Belgium! Sportoase Groot Schijn

This is the Looping water slide at Sportoase Groot Schijn in Antwerp, Flanders, Belgium. Before riding, guests have to pass through a turnstile which is quite narrow, meaning bigger persons will have to cower. This is solely for security reasons as it ensures that nobody is able to jump the turnstile - there is no lifeguard present at the slide. Unlike most looping water slide, this one is not fitted with a trapdoor. Instead, it features one of System Klarer's iconic drop starts: Guests have to sit on the edge, hold on to the pole, push themselves forward and then let go of the pole. Thereafter, guests plunge down a steep transparent drop before reaching the looping. At this point, they slow down considerably before accelerating again once they have passed the highest point of the loop. The slide is quite short but extremely intense!
