The southern coast of Thailand has been severely hit by Tropical Storm Pabuk, leaving flights and ferries suspended. Bangkok Airways canceled all flights to and from Koh Samui Airport on January 4. One day later, the Airways announced the resumption of normal operations. However, tourists have been stranded at the Koh Samui Airport due to flight disruptions and weather conditions.
