I got a chance to skate on the Krux K5 DLK (Down low kingpin) trucks and it was....greeeeeat-ish. It was acceptable but I will say over time I have for sure become more accustomed and or attuned to my trucks in regard to how they turn. These will turn, they do turn, but there is some resistance IN comparison to most other trucks I've been on, if not all. IE Ventures, Independents, Thunder, Tensor, and Theeves. They did get better as time went on and they broke in more but MANNNN. It's pretty daunting at first more so when you hop from another brand to these, and they aren't initially broken in. Nonetheless you get use to them, I did at least and it's been smooth sailing. The turning was more of a hiccup for me this time around vs when I first skated them back in 2016 or thereabouts. This is a long winded first impression video that was over the course of a week and I will check back in as more time passes for a long term then full review. I definitely respect Krux as a brand and ethos from what I can see. I also appreciate how affordable they are generally speaking! And they are a product of NHS so they are reliable in all of my experience thus far.
